What are you working on?

We will be starting work on graphic noiz manga 3 after the December 7 publication of graphic noiz manga 2. graphic noiz manga 3 planning will start in January and tells the story of book 4 in the graphic noiz novella series. Book 4 is really dynamic and shows the growing drama and chaos that surrounds Shiro Ijima, the writer and his lover Noiz, the manga artist as they deal with the ramifications of Shiro’s evil mentor Katsuhiro Watanabe coming back into his life to fix his reputation after he goes on a bender and has a drug overdose. The dynamic between Noiz and Shiro heats up and things get crazy.

I am looking forward to working on the manga and know that it will at least be 98 pages like volume 2. I might try to be more ambitious with volume 3 and really get deep into the story if I can pull off the artwork.

graphic noiz manga 2 will be showcased at the Book Festival this weekend and early copies will be available to the Festival public in limited supply. Each copy will be autographed.

I hope you join me for the journey in January of work starting on graphic noiz manga 3. We will be writing graphic noiz book 6 for Nanowrimo in November this year. Looking forward to a productive month of writing even though I don’t have an outline and I am so busy with work and house stuff after the move.
