Main Occupation: Smuggling psi inducer drugs, iodine pills and data out of the City and into the Echelons and the Zone. Data smuggling is done by data messengers.

History: Anj first ran his group of Runners out of the Echelons as a side business. He was picked up by Faid one night at Hack early on when the Packrats were formed. Anj runs the Processing Centre at the Packrat Sprawl which is in charge of curating and managing the psi inducer drug stash for the Packrats. Anj leads his Runners with a loose hand and lets them be autonomous. He assigns runs into the City to go to the labs, pharmacies and other locations to steal the neurcoyne, juice and other psi inducer drugs. The Runners also steal synth which is a healing drug and iodine pills to combat the radiation. These pills are scare in the Echelons but are necessity and the only way they are accessible to people is because the Runners are on the job. When drugs are brought in they are tested to make sure they are pure and then sold to the black market and to drug dealers who sell on the streets of the Echelons.

Many runs end up at the SenseNet labs in the City. There are long corridors and a tunnel system under the Echelons and the City that are called Runners’ tunnels. These tunnels connect the areas and are a mirror of the subway tunnels underground. The tunnels are under the City and are used by Runners to get around. There is a Runners GPS system which is used to help navigate and there are monitors placed throughout the tunnel system that Runners can use to track their target. The Runners GPS monitor under the Broad Street subway station in the City is tuned to the SenseNet security channel and shows all the building schematics, alarm systems and floor plans, as well as room inventory and guard movements. The Runners tapped into the SenseNet security systems to make that possible. Anj follows Faid, the leader of the Packrats normally without much fuss. He supports Faid whole heartedly and has never been seen to contradict him.

Key Members: Rom, the homeless teen and Level 9 hacker, the most elite hacker the Packrats have. He is sequestered in the Processing Centre because of the price on his head that was leveled by the Elite government, and is not allowed to go out on runs alone.
